To conclude the Health Basics Four Part series we end with - Rest and Emotional Balance. Rest maybe one of the single most important factors to optimal health. During sleep your body repairs, rebuilds and recharges the body. Without proper rest the body and mind simply cannot function properly let alone optimally. Chronic sleeplessness also drains our emotional resources and ability to engage life enthusiastically. To assist those who need assistance Premier Research Labs developed Tranquinol®.

Tranquinol® is a unique botanical formula which promotes deep restful sleep, supports mental tranquility, calm mood and focus throughout the day. Most importantly, Tranquinol® promotes deep, restful REM sleep and improved quality of sleep so you wake refreshed. It also helps increase daytime energy levels and can even overcome the adverse effects from the prior use of sleep or mood medications. This is a natural, non-addictive supplement, which will not cause daytime sluggishness or drowsiness. Tranquinol® is indicated when you are experiencing insomnia, waking up feeling still fatigued, and have used sleeping medication in the past.

Along with rest I will add emotional balance as component to health. Finding greater peace and ease with life is almost out of reach for some people and yet it is so important to our overall health and well being. Not only is addressing challenging stressful emotions and emotional responses important but we also need to engage in activities that bring us pleasure and joy. Finding what brings you more life and doing more of that activity will improve your overall health and well being. And for those needing to reduce their stress level consider engaging in the following activities to bring more balance: yoga, pilates, a gentle walk, join a meditation group or engage in aerobic activity.

Dealing with rather than suppressing challenging emotions leads to enhanced health. By challenging emotions I mean fear, anxiety, anger and sadness while they are not fun to feel they are part of the human experience and they will arise many times during our life. The field of Mind/Body medicine recognizes the importance of emotional balance which is why certain meditation and exercise techniques have received so much praise. Many gyms and YMCA's offer yoga classes and there are meditation groups available in most US cities.

To your Health!
