Ricky's Green 'Jugito' Adventure

Ricky's Green Adventure is a cute tale of a boy making a green juice with his friends. It is the perfect children's book to encourage healthy eating and healthy relating. There are 5 main characters in this story illustrated by Coral Regalado a high school student. They are Ricky the boy, Tito the rabbit, Emilia the bee, Gaby the goat and Alec the worm. One day Ricky finds a repollito in Nana's garden, a repollito as we learn is a green cabbage. This little green cabbage becomes the inspiration for this little tale.

In this story we have the antagonist Alec the worm, he is convinced that one cannot make a juice with vegetables. But as we come to learn one can make a delicious juice with vegetables. All the characters share what they have to make a delicious green drink with honey from Emilia, a bit of chard from Gaby, some grapes and strawberries from Tito and some fresh almond milk that Ricky made. All in all we learn that through sharing we can make good things happen. Oh yeah Alec does come around in the end learns to love the Green Jugito made with a repollito!
