Packaged in glass, vegan and gluten free, our Sacha Inchi seeds are one of the most exciting superfoods to come to the market.

Sacha inchi is indigenous to the high-altitude rain forests of the Andean region of

South America, our Sacha Inchi comes from Peruvian Amazon. It is believed that this plant has been used by the natives of the region for at least 3000 years. The tribal groups of the region have extracted the oil from the seeds and used the seeds as a food source. The sacha inchi seeds are rich in oil (35–60 %) and protein (27 %) content. The oil contains high levels of unsaturated fatty acids (linoleic, lino-lenic) and is rich in vitamins A and E. Sacha Inchi oil is noted for its digestibility and usually does not cause gas or irritation. The seeds are about 50% oil and they can be cold pressed and do not require any refinement.

With a taste like peanuts and an incredible protein and omega oil content, Sacha Inchi nuts are sure to please. Rarely do we come across a vegan food as rich in protein and omega fatty acids as these nuts. They are quite filling and make a great snack or add them to your favorite trail mix blend for a protein boost.

Sacha Inchi production is also good for the communities which cultivate it. It is a wonderful crop that offers many potential benefits.

  • Sacha Inchi has a long production time and crop life. There have been plants found that have been producing for 75 years.
  • Sacha Inchi production is high, at more than 4,000 kilos per hectare.
  • Sacha Inchi is harvested throughout the year.
  • Growing costs of Sacha Inchi are lower than those of other oil-producing plants.
