Organic Sprouted Nut Snacks
Each Sky Island Organics raw, living trail mixes and crunches is built upon a base of organic nuts. First the nuts are soaked filtered water to release the phytic acid and bitter alkaloids, while activating the living enzymes and enhancing their natural sweetness. After soaking, they are lightly salted and dehydrated at low temperatures, preserving their living enzymes while adding an almost-roasted flavor and robust crunch. Then they are mixed with superfoods such as goji berries, mulberries and cacao for exceptional flavor and nutrition.
