When the days are longer in the summer and we tend to spend a lot of time outside, the last thing you want to do is have to cook in a hot kitchen. Life tends to be more relaxed and slower in summer and with that comes with the desire to eat takeout. Instead of resorting to quick and unhealthy options, here are a list of some of our favourite summer recipes by bloggers that we recommend. They're simple and quick to prepare.

Summer Salad, Healthy Food, Eat well

1. Tomato and Watermelon Salad There are a lot of different tomato and watermelon salads out there but we were excited about this one because it features goat cheese and roasted cashews! This was created by a food blogger, Tracy, the woman behind ShutterBean, based in the San Francisco Bay area. Packed with different flavours, this salad is a true journey for the taste buds. The watermelon balances out the acidity of the tomatoes, the cashews give it a crunch and the basil the extra kick. This is summer in a bowl. View the full recipe here. INSERT IMAGE FROM DESKTOP 2.
